The agreement, announced on June 2, reinforces Carrentals.co.uk’s position as one of the leading car rental rate comparison sites, providing the widest selection of car rental rates compared within a single site.

Careentals.co.uk uses a cost per acquisition, or CPA, approach to comparing rental prices, ensuring a fair comparison. Customers are able to see competing quotes side by side before selecting a quote and are then transferred to the rental company site to make the booking. Alamo joins premier brands Budget, Thrifty, Sixt and Holiday Autos for comparison on Carrentals.co.uk.

Carrentals.co.uk was started in 2003 and quickly became a leader in the car rental industry. In 2007, the website re-launched in its current form as a price comparison site for customers. It was voted the Best Car Hire Website in 2008 by Travolution, a leading travel industry magazine.
