Europcar and Sabre have made the announcement that they will be launching a new eVoucher service for the car hire customers of Europcar all around the world.  The new service is aimed to enhance the customer experience of those who use Europcar’s and Sabre’s services.  The service, called ‘Sabre Car eVoucher’, works very similar to purchasing airfare electronically and represents an easy and quick way to manage corporate accounts, as well as travel operators’ accounts.  It is also further integrated into the ‘paperless program’ of Europcar and reflects a travel industry trend for reducing the use of paper in the issuing of travel documents.  These eVouchers will also make it easier for customers when they pick up their reserved car, because all they will need to show is their driver’s license at the counter.  It is also a service that will be available to travelers in 160 different countries.

Ann-Mari Dalon, Europcar’s International Reservation Datacenter Director, noted that as they are the leader in the car hire industry for Europe, they are continuously looking for ways to enhance the services and experience for their customers and partners in the travel industry.  Sandrine Bizeuil, Plus Voyages’ Corporate Department Manager in Paris, said that the eVoucher will allow them to support all of the associated services of car hire with one Sabre record locater.  They are very excited to be offering this feature to their customers, which is easy to get and even easier to use as they don’t have to fill out any paperwork when they pick up their car.
