Travelers who are going from Rwanda to China and India using Brussels Airlines’ flights will not have to connect with other flights now that the airline has established a new partnership with Hainan Airlines and Jet Airways. Passengers on Brussels Airlines’ flights from many of the African countries where they operate can now travel very easily to 3 of the major cities in India, as well as to the capital of China, every day with the airlines’ new comfortable connection times. All travelers have the option now to directly travel to Beijing, Chennai, Delhi, and Mumbai after Brussels Airlines has created code-share agreements, which have been established with Hainan Airlines and Jet Airways, says the Belgian airline.
Brussels Airlines, which is based in Belgium, has been operating 3 direct flights each week for Kigali and Brussels. This is the same company that has made a formal offer on the majority stake of Rwandair Express, which is the local airline of the regional country. Just like other regional countries, Rwanda is the home of an important Indian community that has an increasing Chinese national presence. This regional country has also been transporting hundreds of their students into China and India so that they can get a better education. China is also a major investor for Africa, and they have been served by Brussels Airlines for the past 2 years. The Belgian carrier says that they are offering 5 flights every week into Beijing, which is where the 2008 Olympic Games are to be held.
