Austrian Airlines has been preparing for their new premium service launch, which will be made available to their passengers who fly in business class on certain flights to the Near and Middle East. This new service includes beverages, entertainment options, and food, as well as significantly enhanced seats, and they began offering it on Tuesday, July 15th on routes to Astana, Kazakhstan and Damascus, Syria. Sometime in the close future, passengers who are traveling on other flights will have the opportunity to enjoy the service upgrade as well. Some of these future routes to have this service are Tehran, starting on July 23rd, Cairo, starting on July 24th, and Dubai, starting on September 1st.

A variety of new amenities will also be offered, which include sleeper seats that are fully-flat and have additional leg room, footrests and backs on the seats will be adjustable electronically, and a massage feature will be included in the seats as well. Passengers will have the chance to enjoy warm nuts and fresh fruit juice before they have their meal, which which will be specially prepared Arabic or Austrian and will have many courses. After the passengers enjoy their meal, they will be offered a range of specialty coffees and teas with a wide variety of entertainment options. Every passenger in the business class cabin will have a multi-media player, which will offer them programs in 4 different languages. Some of these are lifestyle programs, international and Arabic music programs, sports programs, documentaries, and movies that have Arabic subtitles.
