Avis UK is capitalising on the success of its home delivery service.

The leading British car hire company today announced it has extended the ‘Home Delivery’ service to the London.

The move is designed to provide greater convenience to customers based in the capital, with the service allowing users to have their hire vehicle delivered and collected from their doorstep.

The London launch follows on from the successful roll out of the program across the UK earlier this year and will initially be made available from Earls Court, Enfield, Dartford and Croydon. This will allow customers from Maida Vale to Abbey Wood, including inner-city residents of Chelsea, Kensington, Chiswick, Crystal Pallace and Tottenham to take advantage of the service.

The home delivery service is perfect for customers who may not have the time to collect their rental, or those without the geographical benefit of being close to a rental depot. At just £10 each way for delivery, the program offers great value for money in addition to convenience.

Having seen a positive response to the service from both existing and new customers in its first few months across other regions of the UK, a roll out to our key London stations was the obvious next step for Avis.”
