Premier car rental company Avis has received two esteemed awards for outstanding business service in the Middle East.

The company, which has car hire outlets throughout the region, has gained international recognition for its two big wins. At the Business Traveller Awards, Avis was named ‘Best Car Rental Company for the Middle East’, while the World Travel Awards 2010 saw Avis scoop ‘Middle East’s Leading Business Car Rental’ for the second year in a row.

Avis came out on top above its opponents as it was voted as having exceptional business services. Commenting on the awards, E Sriram, Manager of Avis Oman,  said he was “thrilled” that the Avis’s service in the Middle East had been recognised by the important accolades.

He added that Avis understands the stress of business travel and they are continuously trying harder to improve their customers’ experiences. He went on to say that the awards allow clients to see that the service is fast, easy and especially beneficial for business travellers who can’t afford to spend time waiting.

The Business Traveller Awards were compiled by readers of Business Traveller Magazine whose votes were later reviewed by a panel of industry experts. The World Travel Awards objective has been to identify companies that constantly go beyond expectation and provide an excellent customer experience.
