AVIS UK, one of the leaders in British car rental, has today launched its all new home Delivery service.

Keeping to their motto of trying harder, the rental experience just became far easier thanks to the convenience of door-to-door drop offs of your favourite vehicle. The customer can also choose to have the vehicle collected from their chosen residence at the end of the hire period – avoiding costly and time consuming delays.

With many UK holiday drivers, a common gripe is over the pick-up and delivery process in any hire car deal. From lengthy journeys to the rental centre for collection, to the nuisance of having to drop the family off first or pick up a second car, getting to and from your rental vehicle has often got in the way of the holiday itself.

Although few UK drivers live far from an Avis UK rental depot, the Home Delivery service will be ideally suited to those pressed for time or who have no means of other transport. The service is available across all parts of Britain, except London, on Monday – Saturday, 08:00 – 18:00, and at just £10 per journey, the fee is less than many public transport tickets.
