Budget Rent-a car is one of the world’s largest and most successful car and van hire companies and now looks to extend its operation in the Middle East following the announcement of a range of reward programs for frequent flyers to the area.
Passengers that belong to Frequent Flyer programs that travel with Air Etihad, Kuwait Airways, Emirates, Oman and Qatar Air will soon be able to access a range of offers including discounts, double air mileage and even free miles on selected destinations thanks to a new partnership with Budget.
Among the special offers is a new deal with Qatar Airways which is currently operating until the end of November which sees all of the airlines Privilege Club members entered into a draw to win Q-miles when booking a vehicle with Budget. The prizes range from 250,000 free miles for first prize, 150,000 for second and 75,000 for third prize. In addition to these great offerings all Budget rentals will earn double miles and Gold and Silver membership holders receive a further 500 miles per day of rental.
Emirates is celebrating its new Durban route by providing Budget-rent-a-car members a discount of 10% on all vehicle hire in Namibia, Botswana and South Africa along with the bonus of 500 Skywards miles for each booking. They also operate a chauffeur driven service which gives double miles on all bookings. The Emirates offer runs until the end of January 2010.
Lastly, members who book car hire throughout South Africa and Europe are all eligible for double miles from Budget from now until the 15th of December in a deal with Oman Air’s Sinbad program, Kuwaiti Airway’s Oasis Club and Etihad’s membership scheme.
