The world’s largest hire car company, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, is set to open a new Stansted Airport office as it continues to expand its network.

The branch represents further enhancement to its UK operation whilst offering local residents and businesses access to the company’s extensive fleet of cars and light commercial vehicles.

The new office will bring the number of rental locations for Enterprise to well over 300, with the new branch being located in Car Park G in the Rental Returns area of Stansted Airport.

Managing Director of the South East Region for Enterprise, Khaled Shahbo, claimed: “The new Stansted Airport branch is a great addition for us. We’ve seen the airport grow into a key international facility and this is a real opportunity to further demonstrate our commitment to the airport rental market”.

The new opening demonstrates the group’s continued European growth, despite the recession. Since its UK launch in 1994 Enterprise has expanded to now include 37,000 vehicles, with three quarters of the UK population living within 5 miles of an Enterprise branch.

Mr Shahbo also added that: “Enterprise now has branches at all four major London airports, as well as the other major international airports across the UK, giving renters the opportunity to benefit from the same high levels of customer service we deliver across our 325+ UK branch network.”
