Apparently all of Eurostar’s services were suspended on Monday, December 21st due to problems. The company has also warned passengers that they may not be able to make it home for Christmas. Eurostar is urging all of its passengers that do not have to travel to change their travel dates or seek a refund. This way the passengers that do have to travel may be able to make it to their destination.

Eurostar has gone on to blame the disruption of services on the acute weather conditions in Northern France. The latest disruption follows the events that happened just last week, leaving 2,000 passengers trapped overnight in the Chunnel.

The Travelers were stranded for up to 15 hours on Friday night after four Eurostar trains broke down. A lot of the passengers suffered panic attacks or fainted as they waited for help to come. Some unconfirmed reports also state that one of the passengers, who was the German supermodel Claudia Schiffer, was picked up by a car which drove to her carriage from the tunnel entrance.

Richard Brown, the Eurostar chief executive says that the breakdown is blamed on the contrast between the cold temperatures on the railways and the warm air in the tunnel. The company went on to say that they now understand the cause of the disruption, and they are working hard to make sure that it never happens again. The company said that they have gone ahead and added things to the train to fix the problem. They hope that this will help provide the customers with a robust and reliable operation.
