Virgin Atlantic will now be one of the first airlines to implement a joint E-ticketing system with a leading rail operator as it enables its passengers to book Eurostar tickets. In light of a new deal, passengers that enjoy traveling with Virgin Atlantic, will now be able to book Eurostar tickets for high speed travel between London, Brussels, and Paris. All passengers have to do is simply make a booking for Eurostar at the same time they are booking their air tickets for a flight on Virgin Atlantic.

The Virgin Atlantic Head of Loyalty, Alan Lisa, said: “This new agreement gives Virgin Atlantic passengers even more flexibility. They can quickly and effortlessly book Eurostar tickets when booking a flight, and experience the delights of Eurostar’s key destinations – London, Lille, Paris and Brussels.”

The director of sales and marketing for Eurostar noted, “We’re delighted that travelers on all Virgin Atlantic routes will be the first to benefit from the convenience of this new arrangement. Many of our customers making corporate bookings can now take full advantage of these through fares, opening up a host of new travel opportunities. The vast majority of people traveling between London and Paris and Brussels use Eurostar and it’s fantastic news that our overseas travelers will now have greater access to the ease and comfort of high speed rail journeys.”

This new deal could be what passengers need to get them traveling once again. Right now many carriers have reported slipping numbers. In order to get people traveling, great deals will have to be offered.
