Flybe has announced their schedule for the coming winter while they celebrate their position as being the number 1 regional airline in the United Kingdom. As they launch their winter schedule, they are also launching ‘Flybe Connections’, which is a more convenient booking service for more affordable and available routes for their passengers. This means that their passengers will be able to build their own itinerary of routes with the airline.
With Loganair’s additional destinations, which is a franchise partner with Flybe, passengers now have an even wider range of places to go, which means that, in conjunction with the new service, passengers will be able to purchase multiple flights at one time. Also, the ‘Flybe Connections’ service allows for people to affordably and conveniently travel around the United Kingdom and Europe.
Flybe’s winter schedule is just a reinforcement to their commitment of bringing a low-cost and convenient way to travel into the region while reaffirming their position as the most successful and biggest European regional airline. Flybe is in a very fortunate position right now with their competition struggling against the continuously increasing price of petrol, because they have a more fuel efficient fleet than anyone in the aviation industry.
The Chief Commercial Officer of Flybe, Mike Rutter, commented:
They are the largest domestic airline out of London now, and they have been successful and busy during the year’s first half, despite the current condition of the economy. They are making things easier for their regional passengers, with the ‘Flybe Connections’ launch, to find a great value with the click of their mouse. Also, the Longanair franchise has made it possible for them to increase the amount of routes that they offer significantly.
