Forbes Traveler recently composed a survey in partnership with Travelocity, Expedia, Hotwire, Travel-ticket, vacation.com, Carlson-Wagonlit and the Cruise Lines International Association. The goal of the Survey was to find a top ten list of best destinations for vacations in North America. Orlando was rated number 1.
Other top destination included the Caribbean and Mexico. This is based on separate fields of data collected about a number of different aspects including flights, hotels, vacation packages and customer preferences.
Orlando has many attractions that are good for families. Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World are all in Orlando. There are also many beaches including Cocoa Beach and Daytona. From Cape Canaveral you can watch Nasa’s space ships take off.
Kenny Doucette, owns a website called Vacation Rental Hotspots www.vacationalrentalhotspots.com. He says “we have seen a steady increase to reflect these findings in our Orlando vacation rentals, whether it is the Disney Vacation villas, or 6 bedroom custom homes located minutes from Disney in Orlando.” He also feels that vacation rentals are a great alternative hotel rooms there. Hotspots can be used to rent beach houses, condos, apartments and other great alternative options.
