GoGo Electric Car Rentals, a progressive car hire based in the UK, is offering its London customers the chance to rent a vehicle with zero emmissions.
Although the green-car travel option is widely popular the GoGo service is the first of its kind and is sure to strike a chord with energy conscious Londoners . The cost of using the service is similar to regular rentals with prices from around £22 per day.
Four passengers can easilly fit into the Mega City GoGo hire car which can make it to all travel destinations across Britain. The energy conscious car however comes with one major drawback for any customers planning on driving outside the city centre – it has a speed a limit of just 40mph.
The positive side is that London drivers using the vehicle will be exmpt from paying the congestion charges as the vehicles CO2 emission level makes it exempt from the levee. A further bonus for users is that electric cars will have an array of complimentary parking spaces located across London.
According to GoGo Electric Car Rentals Managing Director Natalie Franklin the change in approach noticed among the London travelling public had encourage the company start up. Gogo hopes to provide practical and affordable travel solutions to those eco-conscious consumers seeking to reduce their carbon footprint.
