It now seems that the partial closure notice for a holiday park in Pembrokeshire, has finally come to an end. This closure notice was put up due to a rat infestation. However, the environmental health officials have now given Kiln Park at Tenby the all clear to allow visitors in again.
All of the main food premises within the main entertainment building have been shutdown since last Friday following a complaint. The Pembrokeshire Council said that significant cleaning and structural work had taken place at the park over the weekend. There was another pest control company that was employed as well.
The council went on to say that the hygiene emergency prohibition notice that was imposed on the park’s owners, which just so happens to be Haven Holidays, has now been lifted. In a statement, the council went on to say that the environment health officers visited the site earlier this week and were satisfied with the work that had been done. The officers said that a lot of work had been done to increase the hygiene of the park.
Kiln Park, just last Friday, said that their guests were being offered their money back or a package to go back if they did not want to stay now. Haven Holidays went on to say that, over the winter, some major renovations would be carried out at that park to make sure that this problem never happens again.
It has not been made clear just yet what kind of renovations will be done to make sure that this incident never takes place again at the park. However, it sounds as if Haven Holidays will see that they never have to shutdown the park again due to rat infestation.
