The car hire adviser Holiday Autos has joined the ranks of social media by choosing Twitter as a way to reach their customers. The Holiday Autos twitter feed will supply offers, tips, holiday advice and more.
The company has only recently joined the social networking site and has marked the move by offering a five per cent discount off car hire bookings to the first 500 individuals who tweet or reply via direct message using @car_hire. The social media tool of Twitter provides customers with a direct link, making it easy for potential clients to contact Holiday Autos.
Now with the firm’s presence on Twitter, followers of the car hire booker will have the advantage of early access to benefits and new improvements. Some deals will be restricted to a specific amount of customers, however.
Hema Nagar, Holiday Autos head of marketing, said he is “really excited” about joining the Twitter revolution. He added that all media options were considered, but it was decided that Twitter gave the best platform to engage directly and quickly with customers.
The start of Holiday Auto’s Twitter feed also coincides with the company’s first ad campaign in three years. The main focus for the initiative involves outdoor advertising throughout London.
