The Hotel Erwin, located in California’s Venice Beach, has launched a colourful new promotion where guests can show their appreciation for the complex by visiting its onsite Tattoo artist.

The ‘Ink and Stay’ package features a gift voucher valued at $100 for the renowned hotel-based graffiti artist and tattooist Norm, along with Lubriderm lotion for the skin, and healing ice-pack and a bottle of tequila to either numb the pain or dull the shock.

The hotel will also be offering temporary tattoos for those not brave enough for the real thing.

In addition to the new package, customers can earn themselves a $500 bonus voucher if they choose to receive a tattoo which says “I HEART HOTEL ERWIN”. Some have suggested that the tequila may be useful both before and after making such a commitment.

Recently relaunched and overlooking the famed stretch of sand and its boardwalk, the hip and funky Hotel Erwin has become the latest hot-spot for the ‘artsy’ crowd of Venice Beach.

Artist Norm is well known in the US and in addition to his new role, was also commissioned by Hotel Erwin from Los Angeles’ well known Spotlight Tattoo to paint several pieces of art in the new hotel foyer.

The Ink and Stay package is available until the end of the year.
