Monday saw HotelClub recognise 20 top-notch hotels in the United Kingdom and Ireland via its HotelClub Awards.
The five year-old award program recognises outstanding hotel properties throughout the world in numerous categories. The organisation says it seeks hotels that provide the most unique experiences in each location.
This year’s awards recognised nine different properties around Greater London, which grabbed the top prize in several categories including ‘Best Place for London Dry Gin’ and ‘Best Place for Celeb Spotting’. Meanwhile several hotel establishments elsewhere in England were recognised in such categories as ‘Best for Test Cricket’ and ‘Best for Romantic Rendezvous.’
There were also a number of Scottish properties that grabbed prizes in this year’s awards, though several were in appropriate categories such as ‘Best Place for a Haggis Breakfast’ and ‘Best Tee Off and 19th Hole.’ Likewise, two Irish hotels won awards for ‘Best Place to Enjoy a Guinness’ and ‘Best Place to Stay for the Gaelic Games’.
HotelClub’s VP of Hotel Services John Ryan congratulated all of those emerging triumphant in this year’s awards and said the awards were distributed based on unbiased member reviews. He added that his organisation looked forward to its partnerships with the winning properties over the next 12 months.
