In spite of ongoing strike threats and warnings of civil action, the troubled British Airways group has given in to popular demand by announcing the extension of its special deals for residents of the United Arab Emirates.

The sale, originally slated as one for New Years, will now be extended to the 26th of January. This means that passengers bound for London from the UAE – 26 flights each week to London Heathrow – can still take advantage of great low fares. Also included in the offer are deals for travel to the UK, USA, Canada and Europe.

The deals are applicable to any travel prior to the 15th of June this year and mean that return flights to London Heathrow are selling for just 2,010 United Arab Emirates Dirham or £334.00. Elsewhere in Europe, deals can be had for AED 2,065 or £343.00 while flights across the North American routes can be had for around AED 3445 or £572. The fare prices are inclusive of all surcharges, taxes and government fees.

In addition to making flight bookings UAE customers are also able to take advantage of discounted hotel accommodation and car hire when booked in conjunction with the low-cost fares. A spokesperson for British Airways called the decision to extend the offer a simple case of listening to the customer’s needs.

British Airways is presently offering a total of 19 weekly services out of Dubai Airport in addition to a daily Abu Dhabi flight meaning that travel to the UK from the Middle East has never been easier.
