Weymouth beach is the host of the first sand castle hotel in the world, where guests are invited to say for only 10 pounds a night. Laterooms has helped in the building of the unique hotel for highlighting the attractiveness of taking beach holidays in Britain. According to Norwich Union’s research, more Britons are going to take a holiday in the United Kingdom instead of traveling abroad this year so that they can save money during credit crunch time. For only 10 pounds a night, the unique sand hotel offers their guests a beach holiday they will not forget at a price that is unbeatable.
The sand hotel took a JCB, 4 sculptors, and 1,000 tons of sand more than 7 days to build, which covers a total of 50 square metres while standing over 3.6 metres tall. Weymouth is known widely for their sand, of which has been seen as having unique qualities that are perfect for building castles out of. The sand hotel has only one room, containing both a single and double bed, which are entirely made of sand. There are not any doors, a roof, a shower, toilet facilities, or mod-cons, which means that the guests can sleep under the stars, literally, while waking up with the ocean covering their feet. The guests better be fast at booking this getaway, because the hotel will only be available until the rain comes to wash it all away.
