Car rental firm Europcar has just launched a new application for the Apple iPhone.
The company said in a press release issued on Wednesday that the software would bring its iPhone-bearing customers a “new level” of convenience and access to the company’s products.
Europcar Group UK’s managing director, Ken McCall, said that consumers increasingly demand services and products that they can access from anywhere in the current age of tablets and mobile devices. He said the new Europcar app was created to cater directly to this demand and allows customers to book rental vehicles of their choice, even when on the go.
Mr McCall added that Europcar was committed to embracing the latest in technology and would continue anticipating future breakthroughs in the effort of bringing the best possible service to its customers.
In addition to offering the company’s primary products at some 5,300 rental stations in 150 countries around the world, users can access extras like child seats and SatNav devices. Additionally, they can view rate details as well as the car hire provider’s current promotions.
According to the press release, the application is available for free in seven different languages to ensure ease of use for Europcar customers worldwide.
