Britain’s largest vehicle rental organisation Europcar has unveiled an enhanced website section featuring comprehensive location based pages. The additional information will allow Europcar customers greater understanding on van and car hire locations across the 160 countries where the hire car giant operates.
The new pages are aimed at improving the customer experience for customers as Europcar delivers greater details on individual locations and their surrounds. The information covers depot locations and local area knowledge and regularly updated travel tips for each destination. Europcar hopes the new service will allow travelers to experience stress-free and relaxing rentals with the benefit of tailored data for their trip.
One of the key new features is the incorporation of Google Maps technology to make finding the numerous car hire depots scattered around the UK simple. There is even a devoted section to London car hire locations.
In addition to the new mapping feature each individual location page now features real time weather updates and forecasts along with the latest special offers for that depot.
Europcar car claims the new measures will serve to enhance the customer experience of the hire car booking process by providing them with as much up-to-date information as possible on their desired destination. The mapping feature will also reveal travel times and distances to both the nearest Europcar office as well as those details for the intended destination. The enhancements will be complemented by the group’s free delivery and service collection offer.
