The very well known low-cost hotel group Premier Inn is now planning for a very massive overhaul during 2010 through to 2013. When the overhaul is done, they will have added over 1,500 rooms to their lineup in Europe. Right now Premier Inn says that these new rooms will all be distributed in 12 establishments on British territory.

Four of these new Premier Inn hotels will be built in Waterloo, Greenwich, Old Street, and Islington in London. Three hotels will be constructed in Scotland at Dalkeith, Inverness and Edinburg. Another four hotels will go up in Preston, Rochester, Stratford upon Avon and Sunbury. One more hotel will also go up in the area of Belfast.

Right now, Premier Inn already runs about 500 hotels in the UK. It plans to open more establishments that will hopefully benefit from the predicted economic recovery later on down the road. Experts say that Premier Inn has the right idea and that this is the perfect time to start building hotels.

Travel experts agree that if there is a hotel chain out there looking to benefit from the struggling economy, then now is the perfect time to put up new hotels. They go on to say that the economy is not going to stay down forever, and thus, they need to be thinking about the recovery. Although recovery could still be a long time away, hotels that start planning now may get hotels up and ready to go by the time the recovery starts. Thus, Premier Inn is on track to make a lot out of these new hotels.
