A two-day event attracting hosted corporate travel buyers from across Europe was launched by Qatar Airways called the Business Travel Market. This took place in London. Qatar Airways took this time to announce the global roll out of its Qbiz corporate travel rewards program. This will be a program that will be able to help both small- and medium-sized companies. They also used this time to announced their launch date for flights to Melbourne, which will start as of December 6.

Many European corporate travel buyers all attended the show and had invitations to Qatar Airways VIP Hosted Buyer Lounge. Here all the European corporate travel buyers were able to enjoy the airline’s award winning hospitality.

Some of the delegates even got to sample the airline’s in-flight experience on the Qatar Airways exhibition stand. It was here that delegates got to try out the long-haul business class seats that convert into full flat beds.

Akbar Al Baker, the Qatar Airways Chief Executive, said that the show lived up to its promise. He said that it attracted key cooperate travel buyers, just like they said it would. He noted that these were the people that they wanted to attract, because these are the very people that book travel for their employees. Akbar said that this was the perfect way to show off Qatar Airways’ great hospitality to European corporate travel buyers. Thus, they look forward to doing another show in London next year.

A lot of people also noted that the show did attract a lot of positive responses from the hosted buyers.
