Phil Partridge, marketing director for Rhino Car hire can feel well pleased with the company’s decision not to scale back on its fleet in the face or the recession. While many competitors cut costs ahead of reduced bookings, the Rhino group faithfully waited for customers to better prepare themselves without reducing its services. The reward was a summer where Rhino’s fleet was almost fully booked every day.
The success of the group has in part been attributed to its easily navigable website along with competitive prices – starting from just €14 per day.
The forecast for autumn and Christmas is also good, so good in fact that Rhino has leased additional vehicles to supplement the customer demand. Many customers, stung by high prices and low availability of rental cars over summer, have booked well in advance to avoid repeat disappointments. Booking early also allows customers to take advantage of discounted rates and the best vehicles.
Parking solutions have been a major feature of Rhino’s success, with the availability of dedicated car spaces alongside many of the UK’s major terminals. Online bookings for car parking have not only skyrocketed but can provide massive discounts, sometimes up to 60%. Rhino also offers 24/7 security at its car parks, giving travellers peace of mind.
The Rhino website is currently being upgraded to include the AA Route Planner. A visit to the site will further reveal a range of ski & drive holidays for this winter from Austria to France and Italy.
