Europcar has launched a new campaign to offer huge sales after the New Year. UK car hire through the month of January 2010 will be 50 percent off from the leading car hire firm. Britain’s leading car hire company Europcar has announced the UK launch of EuropcarClub which offers the flexibility of daily car hire with the benefits of a car club membership. The UK launch is a continuation of the successful French roll out in 2008.

Europcar has made a formal apology to Labour MP Ruth Kelly after billing her incorrectly for more than £1000 in damage to her hire car.
The former transport secretary was holidaying with her family last month in France when they rented a seven-seat Volkswagen Touran, to accommodate their four children.
