Reports have now come in that show a hotel night porter from Wolverhampton has been cleared of all rape and sexual assault charges after a jury decided a teenage mother had lied about him attacking her. The man, Charles Mukendu, age 34, had been accused of raping the 18 year old girl at the Premier Inn in the city center on August 9th of last year.

Right now, work to turn a historic Paignton seafront pub into a multi-million pound hotel is due to start in about a month. The hotel giant Whitbread hopes to open a 33 bedroom, £2 million new Premier Inn by early summer.

New reports have come out that Premier Inn will be opening four new hotels at London’s main airports starting Autumn of 2011. This well known hotel chain will open two hotels at Heathrow and another one at Gatwick. The remaining hotel will be placed at Stansted, and the total number of rooms offered by these hotels will be around 1,500. Premier Inn also noted that they will be spending around £125 million on the development of these hotels.

The Whitebread-owned hotel chain, Premier Inn, says that it wants to boost its portfolio by five hotels across the UK. The sites that the company is choosing are worth a combined total of £27 million. In all, this means that the hotel chain will add 535 rooms to its portfolio in the UK.

The very well known low-cost hotel group Premier Inn is now planning for a very massive overhaul during 2010 through to 2013. When the overhaul is done, they will have added over 1,500 rooms to their lineup in Europe. Right now Premier Inn says that these new rooms will all be distributed in 12 establishments on British territory.

A woman has now been accused for traveling twice from the Midland to Surrey in order to burn down two different hotels. The woman, Rebecca O’Loughlin, age 33, of Stonehouse Lane, Birmingham was jailed just a year and a half earlier over the fires that happened at Oak Lodge B&B.
The Guildford Corwn Court said that the woman had tried to start another fire while still under a suspended prison sentence for the first arson attempt and, thus, has not learned anything from her time in jail.
