It seems like the well known budget hotel chain Travelodge has announced that it has made a new deal with Marston’s, the pub group. This new deal is set to push Travelodge one step ahead of Premier Inn, which is the chain’s main low budget rival. Travelodge has also noted that this should give it an edge on attracting business travelers as well.

A brand new Travelodge hotel may be making its way to Newbury town center. This news comes in after Travelodge put in an application earlier this month to turn the former Texaco garage on London Road into a new hotel.
An earlier application was submitted back in 2007 by the owners of TA Fisher Ltd, to turn the site into a residential and commercial site. However, the idea had been shelved in favour of high rise hotels and some shops.

The new multi-million pound Travelodge hotel in Scarborough is set to be officially unveiled today, June 11. This new 140-room budget hotel has been built on the site of the former St Nicholas Hotel and has created 20 new jobs since its £7.9 million renovation.
The opening of the hotel will feature a children’s art exhibition. This exhibition will feature images of how youngsters see Scarborough in the future. A mother of a 15 year old Victorville girl was caught allowing her teenager to have sex repeatedly with a parolee, which is a term used for someone released on parole or probation, investigators say.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies allegedly caught 25 year old Anthony Vaux (the parolee) having sex with the under age teen last Sunday at a Travelodge hotel. The deputies had been acting on an anonymous tip that someone had called in.
