The top honor for the Best Hotel Chain has been earned by Hilton Hotels & Resorts from the readers of Executive Travel. The firm also had high votes in the top three categories, which also included the Best Hotel for Meetings and Best Hotel for Business Service, from the the Leading Edge Awards presented by the magazine, which gives recognition to the most innovative travel companies in the industry. The guest loyalty program by Hilton Hotels & Resorts, called Hilton HHonors, was also named in the top three guest programs.

In announcing the top winners for the 2008 Leading Edge Awards, Executive Travel printed that the winners excelled in serving the community of travel with enthusiasm and by offering innovative services and products throughout a year of turmoil and uncertainty for the industry of travel. This recognition is received as Hilton Hotels & Resorts is introducing their Hilton Meetings product, which is for small meetings in the Americas and is aimed at enhancing their offers for business travelers.

Jeff Diskin, the senior vice president for brand management at Hilton Hotels & Resorts, said that they are proud to be recognized as the Best Hotel Chain and receive honors in other categories by the readers of Executive Travel, who set high expectations for the industry’s hospitality in terms of business travel.
