Austin-Lehman Adventures has been named 2009 World’s Best, by Travel + Leisure’s reader’s survey. The company received a 97.34 rating out of a possible 100 points. This is one of the highest ratings in the magazine’s 14 year history. The rating was based on staff, guides, itineraries, destinations, activities, accommodations, food and value.
ALS offers adventures in small groups with guides that know the destinations like the back of their hands. They tailor trips for a mix of kids, teenagers and adults. There is one guide for every six guests which aids in their sincere and effective efforts to engage everyone on the tour. They have some tours designed for kids with others that are adults only.
Co-founder Paul Lehman explains “It’s our passion for delivering over-the-top surprise and delight that make our trips so memorable and meaningful,” He goes on to say “It could be anything from an ice cream sundae at the top of Angel’s Landing in Zion National Park to a foot bath and massage after a day of biking in the Loire Valley. You name it, we’ve done it.”
ALA is quickly becoming a recognized leader among small adventure companies and the sky is the limit.
