ebookers and Viva Voyage have come together in an agreement for ebookers to power the new Viva Voyage cruise channel. Viva Voyage is a cruise retailer based in North America, and they are already behind Orbitz’ cruise channel. The new website, which is ebookers.cruises.com, is both operated and owned by Viva Voyage, which is also a member of the Association of British Travel Agents. On the ebookers homepage, there will be links provided to their customers so they can get to the new site for these cruises, but they plan to have the new site operate on its own. Another great feature is that the call centre for Viva Voyage will be accessible to customers, which is will provide extended operating hours, more so than any of the other United Kingdom cruise specialists.
Customers will also be offering a real-time booking and availability capability on the new website for 23 different cruise lines, which include over 200 cruise ships. Travel packages will also be available on the new cruise channel, which is a typical ebookers offer, and they all come with a guarantee of the best possible price. ebookers and Viva Voyage will be working together closely in order to entice new travelers to take an interest in the market of cruises by targeting the customers that have never thought of taking a cruise in their past travel plans. They plan to use a Pay-Per-Click campaign in order to get the new website off to a good start.
