A vote by readers put Windstar at the head of the small cruise ship category in the 14th annual World’s Best awards by Travel + Leisure.

Windstar has a fleet of three luxury yachts that run exclusive tours exploring hidden harbors and un-touched coves in top destinations in the world. This was their first major honor in the industry while some felt it was long overdue. Windstar has been on the top ten list many years in a row, but this was the first time that they have topped the list.  Travel + Leisure’s annual awards have become widely watched by both the industry, travel agents and tourists.
