Solenzara means ‘the sun’ in the Corsican language and this beautiful large village harbour is a superb unspoilt destination in Eastern Corsica. Located 50kms east of Corsica Airport, it is difficult to get to by public transport, and yet the one hour journey is a very pleasant drive from the airport with car hire in Solenzara.

Solenzara is where the Corsican coast meets the Gulf of Porto-Vecchio where the sandy beaches meet the pine encrusted Peaks of Bavella.
