Car hire Le Mans Station

Le Mans, in the Pays de la Loire of France, is an interesting tourist destination. Split into two distinct halves featuring the old parts of Le Mans in one and the new in the other, there is a lot to see and do here. It is a fairly large town and one of the most convenient ways of getting around is cheap car hire at Le Mans Rail Station.

There is a couple of weeks in June when the world's attention centres on Le Mans for one of the biggest motoring events of the year. If you want to visit at this time of year hotel rooms are scarce and should be booked well in advance of your arrival.

Although there are a number of good hotels near car rental at Le Mans Rail Station these cater more for business travellers. Tourist generally head for the city centre where you have the best of the attractions in addition to entertainment and a selection of excellent restaurants.

A trip to the race circuit is not compulsory during your stay but it would be a shame to miss out. The course actually takes in part of the main road to Tours and getting there is generally easiest with car hire at Le Mans Rail Station. The automotive museum opens all year round and is not just for motor sports fans.

Le Mans has no airport but does have a landing strip if you happen to own a light aircraft. If not, the best option is the Eurostar from London to Paris followed by a high speed train to the city. There is also a direct rail link with Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
