Located to the east of the town centre near the River Sarre, the town Sarrebourg is a pretty place to spend some time. Most visitors choose to travel here by train from Strasbourg as the journey takes a little over half an hour, collecting car hire at Sarrebourg Rail Station when they arrive.

Sarrebourg is surrounded by intense natural beauty as the gently flowing Sarre River can be found to the west of the town centre, while the stunning Vosges mountains are to the north.
