Family holiday in Spain

Cheaper than the rest and clear process to hire. The only small problem was when I collected the car the sales person at the office was trying to sell me more insurance. I never took it, but still a little unsure and unclear about whether I needed more insurance or not. Good new car, fast transport from Alicante airport to depot. Easy and speedy drop off. Worth using search engine to find this deal.

Easy as 123 to book with

I would certainly recommend 121 car hire. They were friendly and helpful every time I had to contact them due to me changing my mind. On researching car rental for our holiday we discovered that a lot of rental companies given you the vehicle with an empty tank and you return it empty, the rental company can then charge you what they for the fuel. On discovering his I contacted 121 car hir who were able to find a rental company that had a full out full in policy. This means you rent the car with a full tank of fuel and you return it with a full tank of fuel. We felt this was better value for money as it was our choice as to what we paid for the fuel. in total we paid £220 for two weeks car hire using europcar at Alicante airport. Before committing to renting through 121, I researched what the cost would be if I hired directly through the hire company, and to my horror i discovered that it was vastly dearer than what I was going to pay hrough 121 car hire. I would highly recommend using 121car hire so much so I have already started researching the cost for next years car hire.

Best Value Car Hire

I used 121CarHire both this year in Spain and last year in Portugal, and can honestly say that they provided the most competitive rates I could find. Their website is so easy to navigate, and the confirmations and booking vouchers were emailed almost immediately. I guess that the collection and return of vehicles is going to vary depending on the supplier and location, but at Faro Airport in Portugal and especially at Alicante Airport in Spain, it was an exceptionally simple process. No hassles whatsoever!!!

Quick Easy Cheap

Used 121 carhire for my recent 16 day holiday to spain flew in to alicante collected bags went to the mini bus stop and it was there waiting for us the guy put the bags on and took us all of a mile if that (there old terminal 1 airport or something) picked up the car no problems we had drivilia. The car was in good condition had a slight scrape to the passenger side door but inside was like new we had a VW but its called something different out there did really well on fuel paid £80 at the car hire place then only put in an aditional £25 when taking the car back just dropped it off and hopped on to the minibus back to the airport. FANTASTIC dont be put off because its not in the terminal and dont be put off bacause its not a well known name. Read full Terms and conditions as who ever is the main name on the policy will need a credit card with £300 extra on it im a carefull girl so checked but i know most people dont. And the extra protection on the car is just as cheap from the carhire company so you would be better getting it when you get there too :-)

121/Dickermann car hire spain

Booking was no problem and deposit taken with balance payable at destination. Short journey to the off airport pick up area by mini bus and collection was straight forward. Brand new Corsa as ordered but 85 euros for a tankful of diesel rather steep, particularly as I returned the car about 10 days later with nearly half a tank of diesel, ie car very economic. It would be good if car hire companies advertised the fuel cost at booking stage, in fact, I may look for that next time of booking!

Not Bad Overall

We booked the car hire for our family holiday, requiring 2 cars. We chose this site as they seemed easy to use and the price was very reasonable! The payment was taken immediately from my debit card, however within 24 hours i was told the car was no longer available. I was then charged a further amount as a deposit on another car. My mother contacted her bank who explained a refund would be on its way as it can take up to 10w days. We arrived at the hire car site, after a very quick transfer in their courtesy mini bus, they had one of our bookings confirmed but there was a mistake with my one. Luckily my dad speaks fluint spanish and we were able to resolve fairly quickly. the £65 we were originally quoted for the rental then became £200, for the same car which had to be paid on a credit card. The car was immaculate, very economical and the drop off was very easy - again with the courtesy bus taking you back to the airport. Slightly rocky start, and misleading with the pricing, but overall a good experience.

Diesel is overpriced. Prefer to pay only what I use.

The tank was filled with diesel and was to be left back empty. The price of a litre was 1.593 whereas the price at the pumps was around 1.23, this is a rip off. I left back the car with a quarter of a tank (o.k. my fauly)so I gave back approx. €20 of diesel. This is my one gripe.

Could find no fault with anything, would highly recommend.

I could find no fault at all, booking on line was easy, we were picked up on time from the airport, taken to the care hire yard, the service was quick, friendly and helpful even to the point of directing us to where we had to go and gave a contact number for any problems we might have had. The car was new, clean and very reliable. When we took the car back we were asked if we had a nice time then were promptly taken back to the airport by a friendly driver, thank you so much and I will definately use you again and recommend to others>

Price for rental was good and also not ripped on on fuel prices, but car was old with over 100,000 on clock and not even central locking, lots marks on car but not shown around it or anything explained, just seemed they wanted us away as quickly as possible, but no complaints about that, but when returning not such good service as waiting around to be transfered back to airport. Car was ok but very squeeky brakes and clutch made a lot of noise, but done its job and never let us down.

Easy and efficient service.

I booked online a few days before leaving for our holiday. I was panicking whether I had left it too late but I was dealt with speedily and efficiently, with emails arriving within 24 hours confirming there was a car ready for us in Ibiza. The email contained where to meet the representative in the car park that was located straight in front of arrivals door. The rep duly drove us to BK car rentals a few minutes away. The transaction of filling in forms and collecting our car was again speedy and I was dealt with in a very professional manner. Returning the car was a reverse process that was once again speedy and efficient, and the rep kindly drove us to the same car park where we walked into departures within a few minutes.
