The location of Prestwick Airpot makes car rental a must. You will find Avis Hertz and Eurodrive rental desks in the terminal area. It might be better if you pre-book a rental car online through agencies such as Car Trawler or Carrentals. These companies do the bargain checking for you and the rental car will be waiting for you on arrival.

In the terminal of Prestwick Airport you will be able to eat and drink from a comprehensive menu at Yates Bar. There is a Starbucks and a café before going through security when you will find the Elvis bar. This bar celebrates the most famous arrival at Prestwick Airport some years ago of Elvis Presley when in the American Army. WH Smith and Peckhams are present in the terminal along with tax and duty free shopping. Disabled travelers are fully catered for.
