Hana and the rest of eastern Maui are generally hotter and wetter than the island's west coast. The one place where visitors need to bring warm clothes throughout the year is Haleakala National Park, where temperatures dip dramatically in the mountains. One thing Hana shares in common with the rest of Maui, however, is year-long warm tropical weather. Temperatures are slightly cooler between November and April than during the May to October summer months.
