Tourists will also appreciate a walking tour of the Daurade quarter which features interesting buildings such as the Maison Dolive and Maison du Bourreau.

From there, visitors can also head down to Toulouse using a cheap car hire at the Cahors Rail Station. The city is one of the most popular tourist destinations outside of Paris. It features a number of interesting places on the downtown area including the Basilique Saint Sernin, Les Jacobins and the Georges Labit Museum.

Further out, visitors can also take a three-hour drive down to Lourdes from Cahors. The town is especially popular among Marian devotees. It is home to a number of sacred sites including the Grotto where St Bernadette was believed to have seen the Mother Mary.
